Metric Definition & Progress Monitoring

An exploration and documentation of existing tools and guideposts (mission/vision/values) at the organization and building level. This work integrates your strategic plans to ensure facilities can effectively support actionable change across large organizations through a network of layered changemakers.

A comprehensive exploration of the current climate and existing culture within your organization. Facilitated through online surveys and focus groups, this approach blends qualitative and quantitative methods to allow for a full understanding of staff thoughts and feelings. Findings are presented in a format designed for practical use and future application.

Understanding the key components and functionality of your existing space, regardless of its age, is crucial for recognizing its potential. We use a scaled approach and understanding of your improvement goals to assess your facility and provide a comprehensive report with diagrams, photos, and essential information.

Change is a complex process involving both unlearning and relearning as individuals and groups grapple with new ideas. Personal beliefs and the overall organizational culture can significantly impact the change journey. This tool evaluates factors influencing readiness for change at both individual and organizational levels and identifies the key changemakers necessary for success.

By involving key individuals in a workshop setting, we foster cohesion around a common purpose and create a path toward success. These workshops cover various topics including staff-wide learning beliefs, the risks and rewards of making change, and leveraging space for learning. This is an opportunity for your leaders and staff to actively participate in the process and drive positive change.

Learning Beliefs

  • An exploration of the core components of the student and staff experience framing the “why” behind teaching and learning. These beliefs can then be aligned with the organization’s overall mission and vision statements to create large-scale cohesion and ensure small-scale buy-in.

Bold Statement Exploration

  • An exploration challenging existing instructional paradigms within a school. These bold statements push individuals to think beyond traditional classroom boundaries, focusing instead on the fundamental principles of teaching and learning.

Activity Cards & Educational Building Blocks

  • A hands-on exercise pairing the exploration and prioritization of different instructional activities with their spatial needs. This approach helps create the ideal learning environment for both students and teachers.

Paced action plans utilize the data collected to align your organization’s strategy with identified changemakers and outline a step-by-step approach for effectively utilizing learning environments as supportive tools.

Working with leaders, we’ll help identify reasonable metrics for progress monitoring over 3, 6 and 12 months as well as the key influencers that will lead change. Our relationship continues as we support through regular check-ins, helping leaders assess any critical pivot points in their journey with staff.
